Bucanero El Capitan Cigar Review

This week, I’ll be reviewing the Bucanero El Capitan. Robert Spoden, owner of Bucanero Cigars, was nice enough to send me a few of his blends to review, and I am finally getting around to reviewing them. The Bucanero El Capitan is a beautiful, box-pressed toro with a dark, maduro wrapper. The cigar was rated a 9.7 in Smoke Magazine and only retails for $3.75! Enjoy the review, and thanks for watching!

I always wonder myself if the humidity has any effect on the cigar at all. I can see maybe towards the end, but I dont see how the humidity would effect the tobacco that quickly at the beginning. If it did, I would think it would split..?? It will be interesting if you can find a shop to smoke in, then wait for a humid day to smoke one outside, then go to the shop and smoke the exact same cigar from your humi inside and see if the burn is different. Construction will have some to do with it, but it would still be interesting :)

Oh and the video is WAY too dark to see anything of the cigar really ;) Might want to get some more light out there.

  2. Is it the one shown on this page?
