My Father No. 3 Cremas Cigar Review
This week, we have another guest review from our friend Danny. Hope you enjoy!
This review is dedicated to Jerry Cruz over at the StogieReview.com. Congratulations on the new addition to your family. All the best to him and his family!

The Verdict:
Appearance: 14/15
This is a very nice looking cigar with some veins and a nice oily sheen to the medium brown wrapper. The head is a thing of beauty, and resembles a blunted belicoso which smokes very comfortably.
Flavor: 23/25
The initial third kicked off with wood and sweet cream. The smoke texture can only be described as chewy. The wood and cream were accompanied by a very pleasant floral nuttiness, and some faint leather faded in and out. The body was in the medium spectrum. The second third still had the sweet cream flavor, but the wood started to fade slightly. The floral and nutty character began to take the center stage, and the cigar picked up a slight white pepper in the background. This third was not terribly different from the first, though the body did pick up slightly. Cocoa appeared in the final third, which was noticeably earthier and less floral than the previous two. The wood was gone at this point, and the pepper picked up, but overall this third was still very sweet and creamy.
Construction: 22/25
The draw on this cigar was perfect, and gave way to a ton of smoke. The ash was perfect as well. It held on for nearly two inches before falling off, and was practically powder. No flaking whatsoever. The burn, however, was a different story. It started out straight enough, but before long, it started to wave. It straightened out eventually, but into the second third, it started acting up again. The cigar did something inexcusable in this third, it went out on me. This was not due to any sort of neglect. Tons of smoke one puff, then less on the next, and none on the next. Very disappointing, but after a re-light, the cigar behaved itself.
Overall Impression: 32/35
Construction problems aside, this was an excellent medium bodied cigar. Perfect for the mid afternoon but, for me, not an after dinner cigar. Though not terribly complex, I think it is another excellent smoke from Don Pepin. It is very different from his other smokes, and bears the most resemblance to the La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial, in that it lacks that pepper zing for which he is most famous. It is far from a full bodied powerhouse, so if you go in expecting that, you will be sorely disappointed. I would go as far as to say that if I had not known ahead of time, I would have never guessed this was a Pepin smoke. I think it is definitely worth picking up a single or two to try for yourself, but due to the price point (~$11.00), I wont be smoking them regularly. I think some age will help these a great deal.
Final Score: 91/100

Test.
I concur with the review and I like this cigar!
I am a big fan of this recent trend of incorporating unorthodox head shapes. This and the Chisel are two of the most comfortable smoking cigars I have ever had.
