CAO MX3 Escaparate Cigar Review
This week’s guest review was written by Ryan Pultz or @petthefish on Twitter. He’s reviewing the CAO MX3, which is part of CAO’s Escaparate collection. This cigar is sold solely by W. Curtis Drapers in Washington, DC.

Apperance: This cigar has a great oily looking wrapper with a few small veins, but otherwise it’s a great looking cigar. The foot is nicely packed and the cigar was firm to the touch. From the looks of it, this cigar was going to be a great smoke!

1st Half: After toasting the foot, the first thing that hit me was a great maduro flavor that I love so much. It was a very earthy chocolaty flavor with dark coffee undertones. The smoke was great, thick and creamy, the kind that just covers your tongue. The ash was a light gray color and held very well.

2nd Half : During the second half of the cigar, the bitter chocolate flavors picked up the pace, giving the smoke an almost sweet flavor. We are not talking infused here, but a great flavor. The burn was nice and even, burning slow and staying cool. The cigar was enjoyable all the way to the nub.

Conclusion: It is time to pick up more of these bad boys! What a great smoke. Very similar to the MX2 taste wise, just a bit bolder and maybe a little stronger. Overall, this was an excellent cigar and I look forward to my next one!

Nice review! I have had the MX2 boxpress and enjoyed it thoroughly. I need to check this one out as well.
