Cain Straight Ligero Maduro Cigar Review
Today, I’m reviewing the Cain Straight Ligero Maduro. This is the new cigar from Sam Leccia and the folks at Oliva. If you haven’t heard, they are branding this cigar as “straight ligero”, which it’s not, but it is over 80% ligero. The reason it’s not 100% ligero is because it wouldn’t burn, but that’s besides the point. This was a good cigar, but was a little powerful for me, especially when I hadn’t eaten in a few hours. The construction was perfect, and the flavors were great. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the review, and thanks for checking out The Weekly Cigar!

These are outstanding cigars! Yes, they are powerful but very enjoyable. They are not meant for afficionados who enjoy light to medium puros as they will prove to be too powerful. These are for us who enjoy really full bodied cigars. They are not as powerful as La Flor Dominicana ligero or double ligeros but they are right up there! I work in a cigar shop and these new sticks are selling like hotcakes!!! Get your hands on some and enjoy!!!!
i found these bad boys by accident and have’nt looked back. I have one a day, but i have on occaision had a second one with lambic before bed. The burn is kinda all over the place but i understand why now that i have read other more qualified smokers explanation of why. Taste is full and pleasent. I love to smell this cigar while someone else smoking it. I like the 660 F. I have smoked about a hundred of these in the past few months and have never had a bad one.
After a disappointing weekend of sampler filler cigars. ( tried rocky g4 and a stupid don Jose that was gunna get tossed anyway) I decided to buy a nub and Cain maduros for Sunday redemption. Upon smoking the Cain straight ligero I have a buzz and will consider a box purchase although my nub Cameroon order is on the way. I can’t decide. Both are amazing.
