Hey Dude, thanks for this review, I perceived this cigar very similar when I first smoked it. What I'd like to know is if you already tried one after a year or more in your Humidor as you wrote? Let us know!
Thanks a lot for sharing and smoke on...

I just smoked my first Cuban Bolivar, the Petit Belicoso. I think the review here squarely describes this stick. It's excellent and isn't a "me-too" smoke because it goes it own way. That way is deep flavors of which dry cedar and dark chocolate predominate. It starts out not too strong and builds to where the last third had plenty of spice to go along with the flavor profile. I paired it with Crown Royale Cask 16 and I thought the dry woodiness worked with the counterpoint of the citrusy sweetness of the CR. A nice after dinner relaxing smoke that has strength and character. I found the roll excellent (nice cap that stayed together with even a bit of chewing) requiring no help once carefully lit. I liked the wrapper as it was a beautiful super rich medium brown with a little oily sheen. Ash held super and I smoked this one well over an hour, almost an hour and a half! These are worth seeking out IMHO as it is now one of my favored Cuban sticks that include the Monte #2, the Cohiba Siglo VI, and the Partagas Series D. This one is different than those, and as such, has a nice slot in the Cuban rotation for me. Recommended.
