Official The Weekly Cigar iPhone App

I’m very happy to announce something that has been in the works for quite some time now. Today is the official launch of the official The Weekly Cigar iPhone App. I’ve been looking for a company that would build the app for a little while, and I finally landed on a company called MotherApp.

The Weekly Cigar iPhone App

All you have to do is supply MotherApp with a few images, a description, a link to your RSS feed and YouTube feed, and your Twitter username. After that, the team at MotherApp builds your app, submits it to iTunes, and notifies you when it is ready for use. I’d like to thank MotherApp for the great job they’re doing, and also for being so helpful with tweaking the app.

If you are interested in downloading the app, click here. The iPhone app is completely free of charge, and is just another way to stay up-to-date with what’s going on at The Weekly Cigar. Please let me know if you have any issues with the app, as it is still a bit of a work in progress. There are a ton of great features within the iPhone app, and I encourage you to spend some time getting to know the ins and outs of the application.

Does this mean that in addition to Twitter you will be following people all over on their iphones, John?

Evryone should read George Orwell’s 1984 NOW!

I like the sound of this app. Will a version of this be made available on android market soon or is it itunes exclusive?

    • Thanks. I will ask the developer if they could create the same app for the Android market. I know they do Android apps, so we’ll see. I’ll keep you posted.

Thanks man, there definitely seems to be a lack of good cigar related apps on android so I’m sure a lot of people would be interested in downloading it.
