Nestor Miranda of Miami Cigar & Company Inteview

14 Sep

Today I had the great honor and pleasure of interviewing a legend in the industry, Mr. Nestor Miranda. He was a very interesting interviewee, and his story is an inspiration to us all. To build a cigar company from nothing and have it still going strong twenty years later is a testament to his business sense and work ethic. I hope you all enjoy the interview as much as I enjoyed interviewing Nestor.

    Good interview. Seems like a guy that would be fun to hang out with for an afternoon. And where the hell can you find those “coffee Break”‘s? I was under the impression those weren’t in production anymore….

    @Adam Hughes
    Smoke Inn has them. http://www.smokeinn.com/eshop/nestor-miranda.html. I really enjoyed that cigar. Great flavors.

    Nestor is one of the great gentlemen in the cigar business. If you get a chance to meet him, I recommend you take it. I also highly recommend the Rosado wrapped Lancero from the Nestor Miranda Collection, nothing short of excellent!

    Great interview. I loved hearing how he started then had to re-start the company! Amazing! I would have liked to learn more about his brandy. I have never had one of his cigars and shall have to try and remedy that :)

    Oh, and how was the smoke?

    • admin September 15, 2009 at 11:12 am #

      It was a great cigar, Matthew. I smoked it down to about 3/4″, which is extremely rare for me.
