Sierra Nevada Beer Camp: Double IPA

Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Double IPA

A picture I took of the empty bottle with my fancy new Canon T3i.

Today, I review the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp: Double IPA. This is one of four styles that is included in the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp 12-pack. The other styles include a Weizenbock, California Common and a Juniper Black Ale. This was a delicious beer and a perfect example of a double IPA. One caveat is that this beer was fairly bitter, which is a plus in my eyes but could be seen as a negative to others. Enjoy the review!

P.S. I apologize for the recent lull in posting. As I hope you can tell, I bought some new camera and audio equipment for the site, and was holding off on recording more videos until I got the new equipment. From this point on, we will be getting back to a more regular posting schedule. Thanks for supporting us!

I liked the juniper black ale better than the double ipa. The double was a quality though. Definitely thee two strongest of the four.

I wholeheartedly agree–please SN, make the Double IPA a regular offering!

  3. Bought the 12 pack last night and tried the double IPA; to me it was so medicinally bitter as to be undrinkable. Might end using the remaining three on the plants.
