Good morning, everyone! Hope you are all getting amped up for the the looooong weekend, I know I am. I finally got my kegging setup in order, and will be filming a video series on how to keg your homebrewed beer. Look for that to be posted later this weekend.

Anyway, I received the following press release from JailHouse Brewing about their new spring seasonal, Shakedown. Shakedown is a French saison style ale coming in at 6% ABV. More details below.

We here in the clink proudly introduce Reprieve. It’s our spring seasonal and the first release from the Trustees Series. Trustees Series selections are offered in a limited quantity before being Locked Up again until next year.

Brewed with 100% floor malted grain, this is a single malt, single hop beer made in the French saison style. Reprieve is a light, refreshing beer with complex aromas and a nice malt character. This sessionable beer is perfect to enjoy in the comforts of spring weather…A Reprieve from the cold, if you will.
